Accelerated Construction Services is awarded the EPA Region III Excellence in site Reuse Award

Huge Congratulations are in order for Accelerated Construction Services, President Michael Allen and Senior Project Manager Charles Wamsley on the EPA Region III Excellence in site Reuse Award!! We want to thank Enso Properties and Omni Associates for this great opportunity. We could not have done this project without them and their support for ACS. This award is for recognition of the efforts in reusing a portion of the Sharon Steel/Fairmont Coke Works Superfund Site for the West Virginia State Troop 1 Headquarters, providing public safety to the greater Fairmont Community.

Region 3 established the Excellence in Site Reuse award for those who have supported the reuse of Superfund sites through outstanding efforts that go above and beyond required cleanup. Region 3 strongly supports reuse and believes it is an important part of the cleanup process. Many communities, developers, site owners, and local governments have worked closely with Region 3 to enhance cleanup, minimize the Agency’s responsibilities for long term care and maintenance, promote long-term stewardship, and provide economic, environmental or social benefits to local communities.
We are honored that we have received such a prestigious award and the West Virginia State Police Barracks was an amazing project for us to have built.
